Hope you are prepared to let the people in your life know that you love them this Valentines season.
I have been having fun experimenting with Kathryn Moore Character Construction Stamps. They are so fun because you can deconstruct them and mix and match different body parts and have a completely different look.
I have been constructing some valentines to family and friends over the past couple of weeks I hope you like them
Both of these gentleman are part of the series Adventures in Tea. The Dog and hat are from Cirque series.
Mr. Love Letter looks like a world traveler and enjoys keeping in touch and spending time together.
The card on the right reminds me of a Royal Canine who loves to travel to exotic countries and spending time in Grand Hotels. He is always ready to lavish you with his money and presence.
Hope you have a great valentines week…
Another Card I made this week for my wife using stamps from Dina Wakley. I think she looks very presidential.
I try very hard to be creative everyday. There is something about creating with my hands that calms and relaxes me. After giving of myself to my job, family and church it is nice to let my mind go and just do something I enjoy.
Cards are very quick and easy things to do. My wife enjoy sending them. Our family and friends also enjoy receiving them as well. So it is useful as well as therapeutic hobby and saves money buying cards. I discovered Dina Wakley stamps by visiting a local mixed media art store. I bought one and then came home and goggled her name and found her blog. She is self taught and just enjoys making things. I have been a big fan ever since.
Here are 3 cards I made Monday evening. The first two are inspired by my wife she is a strong beautiful woman that makes my life complete. I wouldn’t know what to do with out her…
The last card is of a bird and music. It reminds me that every morning when I wake and when I lay down at night I have a choice on how I feel. I choose to be Happy and with a song in my heart, content as the birds that fly around in my back yard and free from bitterness and anger.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
I hope you have a wonderful day and don’t forget take some time to do something you enjoy today….
Birthday Card I made using Graphic 45 Good Ol Sport paper
This is a card I made for my future Son In-law. He is a huge Baseball fan and I have really enjoyed working with the Good Ol’ Sport paper. It has become one of my favorites.
